Monday 9 July 2007 @ 11:43 pm

If you happen to surf in money making forums, one of the biggest debates is whether to buy or not to buy “get rich ebooks’” about adsense or any affiliate marketing. Most of the senior affiliate marketers will tell newbies on internet marketing not to buy ebooks and will suggest to just browse the web for more advanced information about affiliate marketing tips. This article will serve as a guide for you to decide whether to buy or not to buy a get rich ebook.

I have outline the advantages and disadvantages for the reader to see more clearly the reason for buying the ebook,

What are the advantages of buying an ebook:

  1. It will save you time in researching provided that the author comes is reputable one.
  2. Most the of the ebook will spoon feed you in any procedure (step by step money making tips) that you will doing as an affiliate marketer e.g. step by step procedure in registering as an affiliate marketer, how to set-up a website, how to promote your site, etc.

Disadvantages:

  1. Most of the content of the ebooks are basic they do not contain advanced tips especially in the field search engine optimization. By the way, SEO is a vital tool in promoting your affiliate site, without proper SEO or promotion your site will sit among the billions of website that are left un-visited.
  2. Most of the link that they will be providing contains affiliate links which means that they will try to sell you again rather than “teach” you to get rich.
  3. Most of the ebooks are outdated. Some are written a year go or much later.
  4. Most of the ebooks are re-written articles form old ebooks.
  5. Most of the content can be found on the web.

The above are just some of the points that I have outlined whether to buy or not to buy ebooks. Just a quick tip before you intend to buy an ebook is to ask someone for review most likely they will tell whether it is worth buying or not.

Thursday 5 July 2007 @ 4:50 pm

So now you have decided to enter into the world of freelance or start an online business whether you just have a hefty argument with your boss or have heard a that many people got rich in freelancing.I will not offer strike it rich schemes because I think that there is no plug and play in earning profits, one has to work smart to succeed in any endeavor.

Below is the basic list in getting you started in freelancing:

  • 1. Set your goals. - Setting your goals is very important, it will determine whether you have achieved what you wanted to do or not. Some examples are:
    • a. Increase adsense earnings from $10 to $20 per day.
    • b. Establish 10 website in a year.

Just remember that goals must be specific and has time frames, don’t say I will establish many sites this year. Without goals you might end up being blown by the wind with no direction.

  • 2. Research - Research what the current market is doing, you cannot offer web templates at $500 while your competitors are offering $50. You will have a hard time getting customers if you are offering high prices and low services. You must be competitive and one way to do that is research.
  • 3. Plan - Organize what you have research and put everything into planning. There is an old adage: ‘how can you get there if you do not know where you are going.
  • 4. Execute - Carry-out the steps that you have undertaken. Just do it. Remember that the only way to tell whether your plans are correct or not is by executing what you have plan.
  • 5. Evaluate - You must evaluate what you have done after the execution stage. Do not evaluate before the execution, a lot of entrepreneurs end up procrastinating and got stuck in the Planning stage.
  • 6. Repeat - Whether you have reached your goals or not repeat the steps and modify. A lot of successful freelance businesses do not quit in their endeavors. They just repeat the steps until they have finally reached their goals. And when they succeed in getting their goals they change it to a much higher challenging goals.

These steps are the basic foundation in freelancing or starting a business effectively. Good luck and just remember ‘Quitters don’t Win’. Welcome into thee world of freelancing!

5 Ways To Make Money Online

Thursday 5 July 2007 @ 4:43 pm

As technology continues to grow and develop new ideas, the internet is increasing the number of ways to make money online. Every day more and more people are quitting their jobs to work for themselves out of the house. With the amount of benefits you can have from working through your house, there is no wonder why people are looking for ways to make money online. Here are 5 ways to make money online.

1. eBay

eBay has become one of the most popular ways to make money online over the past few years. It gives people a chance to sell stuff to others without having to invest much at all themselves. The great thing about this idea is that what you may see as garbage, someone else might see as gold, so the possibility to make big money is there.

2. Online Advertising

This is another way to make money online without having to spend any money at all. The first step is to generate traffic to your website through various marketing methods. After that, advertisers will be more inclined to pay you to place their ads on your website. Everywhere you look there are Google ads and company banners on people’s websites, and they are making money off of people simply clicking on them.

3. Affiliate Programs

There are thousands of affiliate programs on the internet, and nothing limits you to the amount of affiliate programs you can join. It is not recommended to join more than a few because there is a great deal of research required if you want to have any kind of success with this method. However, this way to make money online is versatile and allows you to sell products that are compatible with your website.

4. Domain Names

This is a little more difficult of a way to make money online, but is becoming increasingly popular over time. As the internet continues to expand it is becoming more difficult to find domain names that haven’t been taken. You will find that a domain name that you purchased a year ago would sell now for twice the price you paid for it.

5. Article Writing

Fresh content is crucial to your website if you want to maintain a high traffic volume. If you don’t have anything to offer readers, your traffic will dissipate quickly. If writing is one of your strong points, the business is there to provide content for people’s websites. All you have to do is set up a page on your website and offer to write articles for a certain price. You obviously have to promote the page, but business will come with the high demand.

There are a number of ways to make money online today with the continuous development and expansion of the internet. The problem many have is trying to do all of the ways to make money online at once. If you work at one or two methods and put in the time and effort, the business and money will come over time.

How To Make Money From Google

Thursday 5 July 2007 @ 4:42 pm

Google is a big name on the Internet these days and if you have a website of any sort you can make money with their help. You don’t have to have the top ranked website on the Internet; you don’t have to concern yourself with search engine optimization, you simply have to have a website on which you wouldn’t mind placing a few small advertisements. Making money with Google Adsense is so simple that the opportunity is hard to pass up! Any type of website will work well with the Google Adsense program, which makes it all the more attractive.
While most of us know Google to be the biggest search engine on the Internet, the company actually makes most of its money and is known to others for its Adwords program. This program allows website owners to advertise on Google’s search result pages. The Adsense program basically is the other side of the Adwords program and allows Google to advertise on your website and they pay you a portion of their revenue in return. Google is all about making money, and because they have so many companies willing to pay them for advertising space, they don’t mind sharing a bit of it with you for the extra space on the Internet!

Adsense is a good idea because it’s easy, requires very little of you, and will at least pay for your site each year. In fact, some people start using Adsense to cover their website expenses and find that they can earn a lot more, depending on their website and the traffic that they receive. Others just want to supplement what they are already making online, and this is also possible with Google Adsense. With just one website you can begin earning money tomorrow with Google Adsense.

The way this works is that every time a visitor on your website clicks on the advertisement, the company being advertised has to pay Google. This may be just 25 cents per click but over the course of a week, a month, or a year this nominal amount can really add up. While you will not see the 25 cents for each click, you may see a few cents of that. It doesn’t seem like much, but when there are Google Adsense advertisements on all of your web pages the change can really add up fast. In fact, the program is so popular and lucrative that many people add pages to their existing websites just so that they can take on more Google Adsense advertisements.

What’s great about the program is that you won’t just have any old advertisement on your website. Google is very smart and knows that every website has a target audience, so the advertisements are relevant to the information, topic, service, or product that you offer on your website. This not only makes the advertisement seem as though it is not out of place, but also increases the likelihood that your visitors will click on it, earning both you and Google a few pennies with each click.

Google Adsense is a great program, but one tip is not to expect to become a millionaire with it. Many people boast how much money they make through the Adsense program and while you can earn a relatively good amount for a free program it is not likely that you will be able to quit your job at the end of the month! Another tip is to really think about how many pages you are willing to advertise on and how much space you can dedicate to Google advertisements. While the program is worth your time and space, many Internet users are wise to the program and feel as though web space could be used for more information, products, and services and don’t like the idea that you want them to click on advertisements that will pay you. Granted, most web surfers will not avoid a website just because it has Google advertisements, but it’s important not to take away from the user experience of your website to provide this advertising opportunity.

Google Adsense has had a bit of negative feedback, but with so many people using the program it comes as no surprise that some people are unhappy with it! Many people complain that their website features public service advertisements for extended periods of time, which do not pay. It is generally understood that if Google cannot determine what sort of advertisement to place on your webpage that they may place a public service announcement in place of a paid advertisement. The problem is that many website owners report that there will be a relevant ad and then all of a sudden it will be an unpaid advertisement. You could see how this would be very irritating, but for a free service you have to be willing to be a little bit flexible.

Overall Google Adsense is a very good program. Obviously, the more traffic you get to your website the more money you can make with the program. If you can take some time to work with Google and let them know what your website is all about you will find that your website has very relevant advertisements placed on it. Like all programs, Google Adsense has issues from time to time, but for the small investment in the way of space it is generally a great program to be involved with!
