In my previous post, I mentioned how I still prefer Firefox over Google’s Chrome. Firefox proves to be a great help for aspiring affiliate marketers or for people who wants to earn money
online because of the large number of extensions that are available. Here is the list of my favorite Firefox Extensions:
Screengrab! is an extension for Firefox that makes it easy to save a web-page as an image. With it, you can save anything that you can see in a browser window - from a small selection, to a complete page.

Video DownloadHelper 3.2
The easy way to download and convert Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites.
This works also for audio and picture galleries.

Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer 2.1.0.12
If you use Firefox on more than one computer, you’ll want Foxmarks. Install Foxmarks on each computer, and it will work silently in the background to keep your bookmarks synchronized.
You can also log in to my.foxmarks.com to manage your bookmarks from any computer.

Google has released yesterday a new browser called Google Chrome for Windows XP and Vista. I have downloaded it and installed it to see how my sites will look in the new browser.
Everything looks fine except for one glitch: overlapping of the social bookmarking buttons after each every post. This is still tolerable since I can make the tweak on the css (I hope).
With regards to using Chrome as my default browser it is still a no-no. Although that Chrome proves to be much faster than Firefox and IE (see the review of Stephen Shankland), it still lacks the features needed by web developers and internet marketers. I am referring to themes, add-ons and plug-ins that use to customized browsing enhancements. Firefox contains tons of these features from third party developers.
Perhaps in the future if the Chrome will be supported by the plug-in developers, I might use it as a default browser but until then I will stick to Firefox.
I just hope that the Chrome browser conforms to W3C standards so that webmasters will not be developing “css hacks” for new browsers.
By the way if you need to view your website in different browsers, you may visit browsershots.org. The site will render a view of your website in multiple browsers.

This is an interesting video from Matt Cutts of Google. The video contains tips for starting entrepreneurs on how they can use Google to their advantage.
Some of the points that Matt answers are the following:
- Using wordpress as a tool for your blogging site.
- SEO tips
a. Keyword selection
b. Importance of content to Google search engine
c. Using Google’s webmaster tool to monitor traffic and other related data. - Inclusion of your business in Google’s local directory.
- Usage of images, javascript, flash … as the way Google reads it.
Though this video is short and is already 9-month old it still contains relevant information in getting into the top Google searches.
Best of Luck.

Tag:matt cutt seo video tipsI read in Digital Inspirations blog that AdSense click tracking is now in integrated in Google Analytics (Beta Stage). I am still not quite sure whether how old the news was, since I cannot find the “news” from the site he is referencing into.
Anyway I made a couple of Googling that lead me to Bloglines referencing screenshots to the original blog post. The buzz is really out adsense publishers can soon track their adsense click earnings from google analytics.
Here are more info.
These new reports in Analytics have enough details to help you exactly measure AdSense performance on every single page of your website.
Google dropped hints on AdSense - Analytics integration some two years but the program has finally entered the beta phase as revealed by a post on GoogleCache (offline now).
Luckily the story remained in FeedDemon’s cache and picking from there, following is a summary of AdSense related data that you’ll be able to track via Google Analytics:
1. The number of times AdSense ads were clicked on any given web page.
2. AdSense revenue generated per page for clicks mentioned in #1.
3. You’ll also know the CTR and CPM for all web pages - no need to create individual URL channels in your AdSense dashboard.
4. “Top AdSense Referrers” - this is the most interesting report as it helps you know about revenue made per referring websites.
Let’s take an example. Assume two sites - digg.com and cnn.com - have linked to a page on your website and are sending some referral traffic. Now Analytics will tell you exactly how much AdSense revenue you are making through traffic from each of these sites.
This report has enormous potential as it lends a “measurable” value to each incoming link. Some sites could even use this as a replacement for affiliate programs.
All the above information is based on screenshots that were shared by Google Cache but that story is no longer available on the web.

I hope that the Google Adsense-Analytics integration will be out soon so that we can benchmark our earnings more precisely.

If you are an Adsense Publisher like me you might have noticed that Google has already launched Adsense for Feeds. I have not yet set up mine yet. I am still weighing whether it will be good for my visitors or not.
According to Google Adsense here are the major benefits of Adsense for Feeds.
# Receive higher CPMs and maintain a positive user experience by displaying ads specifically optimized for RSS feeds.
# View detailed stats on your feed audience, distribution, and more through FeedBurner when you set up your feeds with AdSense.
# Manage monetization for your feeds through the same account that you use to manage other AdSense properties.
Watch the introductory video from GA’s Product Manager Steve Olechowski:
Why am I still hesitant in putting the Adsense For Feeds?
The objective of my RSS feed is to drive traffic to my site(s) so that I can still show other things to my readers (my own products, affiliate products etc.) and have them subscribe to my list.
Maybe someday… after weighing the benefits, I might consider using the Adsense for Feeds but not today Jose.
